Prequel: The Blood franchise is seen as this, but Blood-C is much more of an alternate continuity than an actual sequel.

Release Date: 2011 – Ongoing as of sept. 2011

Synopsis: Saya Kisaragi is a normal, if happy and bubbly, girl who helps her father to run their family’s shrine. She lives in a picturesque little town, where there is one of everything.

Yet, under the cover of a peaceful town lurks something significantly darker: Saya has been protecting that small town since she can remember.  Putting her own life at risk to protect the town she loves, soon, she will be faced with trials that will test her resolve, her kindness and her duty. Nothing is as it seems, and Saya soon learns that not everything can be trusted.

Thoughts: A very nice series by CLAMP. The story starts off slow, but as of episodes 5-8, the pace has changed dramatically, and it’s getting harder every week to wait for next week’s episode.

Thoughts: I really enjoyed this OVA. I enjoy Yaoi/Boy’s Love simply for the love of the genre, but this is one of the few yaoi animes I consider good. Good animation, great voice actors, and a nice plot. I really rooted for Morinaga when I watched this. I love Takanaga sensei’s works, and I really enjoyed seeing this one animated.
